Perennial Lavender Day 5

Measurements:  
· Gorgeous Grape: 4¼” x 11”
· Highland Heather: 4” x 5¼” (2)
· Basic White: 1” x 3”; scraps for die cutting (about 3½” x 7”)
· Designer Series Paper (DSP): 2” x 5¼”
· Thread: about 20”
 
Instructions:
1. Fold Gorgeous Grape in half for card base.
2. Die cut postage stamps from Basic White.
3. Lay butterfly on large postage die cut and add Highland Heather ink around and on top with the Blending Brush.  Remove butterfly.
4. Adhere Highland Heather and large Postage to the inside of the card.
5. Adhere Highland Heather and DSP to the card front.
6. Dovetail the end of the Basic White strip.  Stamp sentiment in Highland Heather near the dovetail.  Adhere to card front.
7. Stamp lavender in Highland Heather on small postage die cut.  Without reinking the stamp, offset and stamp again.
8. Stamp stems in Shaded Spruce.
9. Adhere small postage die cut with dimensionals.
10. Adhere butterfly to the card front with mini glue dots.
11. Tie a double bow with linen thread and adhere to card with mini glue dot.
Add Shimmer Gems.

Thoughtful Expressions

Measurements: 

·       Card Stock Thick Basic White: 8 ½” x 5 ½”

·       Card Stock Basic White:  4” x 5 ¼”; 1” x 3”; & scrap pieces for die cutting label & flower

·       Card Stock Vellum: scrap piece for punching circle

         

         

Instructions:

1.     Score and fold the thick basic white card base.

2.     Emboss the 4 x 5¼” piece with the layered florals embossing folder and attach to the base card using glue.

3.     On the scrap piece stamp the flowers in old olive ink.  Color flowers with the light highland heather blend and light lemon lolly blend.  Using the wink of stella on the leaves.  Being careful, I added a bit to the flowers too.  Not too much or the old olive ink will blend and make it yucky. Then die cut the flowers and the label using the thoughtful expressions dies.

4.     Use the circle punch to create your circle from the vellum paper.

5.     Stamp your greeting on your 1 x 3” piece of white cardstock in old olive ink and flag one end with paper snips.

6.     Using glue attach flower piece to vellum circle.  Then glue that piece to the die cut label.  Attach to the card front using dimensionals as shown in the picture.

7.     Using dimensionals add your greeting as shown in picture.

8.     Add iridescent rhinestone jewels to the card front as shown in picture.

·       Crumb Cake: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”

·       Sweet Sorbet: 5-1/4” x 4” and 1” x 3-1/4”

·       Basic White: 5-1/8” x 3-7/8”, 2-3/4” x 2-3/4” and scrap for stamped image

         

         

Instructions:

1.     Stamp the beaver image from the Fluffiest Friends stamp set onto a scrap of Basic White card stock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. With the same ink, stamp “happy birthday” from the Something Fancy stamp set on the small rectangle piece of Sweet Sorbet card stock.

2.     Color the beaver with Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake for the body, Pecan Pie for the tail, feet, paws, nose and ears and shadowing and Sweet Sorbet for the heart. Cut the beaver out using the corresponding die from Fluffiest Friends.

3.     Use the Stylish Shapes dies to cut out the greeting and square.

4.     With the Sweet Sorbet ink pad and a blending brush, add color to the center of the Basic White card stock layer.

5.     Fold the Crumb Cake card stock in half to make the card. With Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere the Sweet Sorbet and Basic White card stock layers to the front of the card.

6.     Cut 20” of Linen Thread and loop it four times before adhering to the back of the Basic White square with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add additional Dimensionals to the back of the square and add it to the card front.

7.     Add the beaver and greeting to the card with additional Dimensionals.

8.     To finish, add three Sweet Sorbet 2022-2024 In Color Pearls to the card.

Painted Lavender Day 4

Measurements:           

·       Basic White: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”

·       Perennial Lavender Paper (Gingham Design):  4” x 5-1/4”

·       Perennial Lavender Paper:  2-1/2” x 2-1/2” scraps of 6 different designs
                   
                   

Instructions:

1.     Fold the Basic White Cardstock in half at the scoreline to create your card base.

2.     Using the 6 different scraps of Perennial Lavender Paper, punch out using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch.

3.     On one of the punched paper, stamp the sentiment from the Softly Sophisticated Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad.

4.     Adhere the punched paper onto the card as shown in the sample.  Use your Paper Snips Scissors to trim paper as needed.

5.     Adhere the 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Perennial Lavender paper onto front of card.

6.     Add Wink of Stella to the Paper Butterfly Accent of your choice; adhere to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.

Cheerful Daisies--a fun layout

Today's card is a fun layout using the cheerful daisy stamp set.

Measurements

·       Pebbled Path Card Stock: 4 ¼” x 11”

·       Basic White Card Stock:  4” x 5 ¼ “ (2 of these) & scrap for punching

·       Garden Green Card Stock:  3 7/8” x 5 1/8”

·       Fresh as a daisy DSP: 5 1/8” x 1” (2 of these); 1” x 3 7/8”

·       Pebbled Path Ribbon:  appx. 4”         


Instructions:

1.     Score and fold pebbled path base card stock in half at 5 ½”.

2.     Using stampin cut & emboss machine with specialty plate emboss garden green cardstock using the exposed brick folder.

3.     Punch the heartfelt hexagon out of a scrap of white card stock.  Stamp the greeting in pebbled path ink and two daisies in lemon lolly.  Also stamp the corner of one of the 4 x 5 ¼” pieces of white cardstock with three daisies in lemon lolly ink.

4.     Layer the garden green embossed piece to the plain white 5 ¼” x 4” piece using glue.  Layer the stamped white piece to the inside of the pebbled path base card using glue.

5.     Layer the two pieces of daisy dsp along the left hand side of the embossed green cardstock as shown in picture with glue.  Then add the pebbled path piece of dsp as shown with glue as well.

6.     Add this white/garden green/dsp layer to the base card front.

7.     Add two dimensionals to the back of the punched piece.

8.     Grabbing a strand of the ribbon and pulling gently, it will unravel leaving you with little strands.  Then attach them to the dimensionals on the back of the hexagon punched greeting.

9.     Add a few more dimensionals and attach to the card front.

10. Add three in color dots to the card front.

Instructions:

1.     Score Gorgeous Grape card base at 2 1/8” and 4 ¼”.  Use bone folder to flatten card base in half and the front half back to the front – see card sample.  Adhere DSP pieces to the 2 sections of the folded card front.

2.     Fold the large piece of Basic White in half and flatten fold with bone folder. Stamp sentiment with Gorgeous Grape ink on upper right front of Basic White piece.  Stamp greenery across the bottom of Basic White piece with Lost Lagoon ink. Stamp small flowers across top of the greenery with Highland Heather ink.

Adhere this piece to the inside of the card base.  The right half of this piece will appear as part of the card front.

3.     Die cut stitched shapes from Highland Heather and Basic White card stock using the second and third largest dies from the Nested Essentials Dies.

4.     Stamp the stems in Lost Lagoon ink and the flowers in Highland Heather ink on the white die cut.  Adhere the stamped die cut to the stiched Highland Heather die cut.

5.     Wrap linen thread twice around the die cut piece and adhere with tape on the back side of the die cut.  Make a bow and adhere to the wrapped thread with a small dot of liquid glue.

6.     Adhere die cut to the card front with dimensionals. Make sure to place the dimensionals behind the left side of the die cut only and adhere to only the first section of the folded card front.

Bee Mine Valentine 2

 










Today's card is a fun fold.  Pretty easy to make though...here is your tutorial.

Measurements:  

·       Daffodil Delight:           8 ½” x 4 ¼”

·       Basic Black:                2 pieces - 5 ¼” x 2”  

·       Basic White:                5 ¼”  x 4” (for inside card), 5” x 1 ¾”, scrap for bee                                            

·       Bee Mine DSP:           5” x 1 ¾”  

·       Real Red:                   scrap for heart

         

Instructions:

1.     Score Daffodil Delight card stock at 2 ¾” and 8 ¼”. Use bone folder to flatten folds to the front to form the card base.

2.     Adhere yellow lined DSP to one of the Basic Black rectangles.  Adhere this piece to the lower right card front.  Be sure to only put glue on the right half.

3.     Stamp sentiment in Basic Black ink on the Basic White rectangle, then stamp the dotted swirl with Pool Party ink. Refer to picture for placement. Adhere this piece to the other Basic Black rectangle.Then adhere this piece to the top left of the card front.   Be sure to only put glue on the left half.

4.     Stamp the bee using Black ink and Daffodil Delight ink and antennas with Black ink. Use the light Sweet Sorbet Blends to apply cheeks to the bee’s face. Punch out the bee and antennae. Stamp the bee wings with Petal Pink ink and punch out wings.  Punch out a real red heart.  Assemble bee and adhere to card front with dimensionals.

5.     Adhere Adhesive Backed Flowers to the lower card front.

6.     Stamp remaining piece of Basic White as desired and adhere to inside of card.
